How to use Lemon Squeezy test cards
A new Lemon Squeezy store starts in test mode. Everything you do there, products, checkouts, orders, subscriptions, webhooks, is real in shape and fake in money, and it is kept separate from live data. Switch the toggle in the dashboard to move between the two; test-mode API keys and webhooks only see test-mode events.
To place a test order, open a checkout for one of your products while the store is in test mode, enter one of the cards above with any future expiry and any three-digit CVC, and use any name and email. Do not use a real card in test mode; Lemon Squeezy treats that as suspicious activity.
Lemon Squeezy documents the three cards above. Card processing runs on Stripe underneath, so the wider Stripe test card list often behaves the same way, but only these three are guaranteed by Lemon Squeezy.
Testing an affiliate programme on Lemon Squeezy
If you are testing checkout, you are one step from testing referrals: click a referral link, buy with the successful card, and check that the order arrives with the affiliate attached.
