When switching from FirstPromoter pays off
When to stay on FirstPromoter
- You bill through Chargebee, Recurly or Braintree. FirstPromoter integrates with them; Refgrow would need your server to report payments through its API.
- You want a longer trial: FirstPromoter lists 14 days, no card; Refgrow's is 7 days, card required.
- From $1,000 to $5,000 a month of affiliate revenue, both cost the same: Refgrow Pro $49/mo, FirstPromoter Starter $49/mo.
- From $10,000 to $15,000 a month of affiliate revenue, both cost the same: Refgrow Business $99/mo, FirstPromoter Business $99/mo.

Write down your FirstPromoter commission rules, billing provider, payout method and how many affiliates are active, and check that Refgrow's plan for your affiliate revenue covers them.
Configure Refgrow
Create your project, connect your billing provider, and import your FirstPromoter export under Affiliates → Import: each affiliate keeps their referral code. Verify tracking before you switch traffic.
Validate the migration
Test links and attribution, and reconcile outstanding FirstPromoter commissions before you invite partners and disconnect the old tool.
Review your migration in writing
Email support@refgrow.com with your current provider, affiliate count, commission rules, and the data you need to move. We can review the export format and outline the setup and validation steps. Importing referral codes alone does not guarantee that existing links, coupons, or historical commissions will work unchanged.

FirstPromoter: 14 days, no card. Refgrow: 7 days, card required, or 30 days if you are switching from FirstPromoter.
Can I move my affiliates from FirstPromoter to Refgrow?
Yes. Refgrow's dashboard imports your FirstPromoter export under Affiliates → Import, and each affiliate keeps their referral code. Refgrow's tracking script reads your own link parameter plus via, fpr and aff, so links in those formats keep crediting the partner once their code exists in Refgrow. Check coupons and pending commissions separately. Written migration help is available at support@refgrow.com.
Can I run both platforms during migration?
Yes. Plan a transition and verify attribution and commission handling before disconnecting FirstPromoter. Avoid duplicate tracking or payouts while both systems are running.
